Thanksgiving leftovers inspired a new original recipe in the @tastyspicydelish kitchen. We wanted to do something different with the turkey leftovers. Here is a quick & tasty Turkey Shawarma recipe!
Ingredients
- 250 gm (leftover) Turkey cut into fine slices
- 190 gm (leftover) baked onion cut into slices
- 1 Tbsp Olive oil
- 1/4 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/4 tsp Oregano
- 1/2 tsp Lime juice
- 3/4 tsp Peri-Peri sauce
- 1 tsp Beef stock powder
Instructions
- Set the broil/grill on 550° F
- Mix all ingredients together & place it in a baking tray
- Place the tray on closest rack to the top grill
- Grill it until you see some of the top meat pieces start to turn dark brown- take care not to char the meat
- Remove & eat with pita bread or dinner rolls
Notes
- We spread some Nando’s Peri-Peri sauce & garlic sauce on the pita for extra flavour
