A little sweet, a little savoury. In our house, half of us like a sweet breakfast while the other half prefer a savory breakfast. Give your pancakes a bit of a twist with this quick sweet & savoury pancake breakfast recipe. We used a pancake mix for this but you can also add the below toppings to pancakes made from scratch.
Ingredients
- 2 cups pancake mix (prepare as per instructions on packet)
- 1 large onion finely chopped
- 1 large tomato finely chopped
- 2 green chillies finely chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
Instructions
- Prepare pancake batter as per instructions on packet. Do not over mix. Let the batter stand for 2 mins.
- Mix all the vegetable in a bowl
- Heat a pan on low flame & apply little ghee then pour less than 1/4 cup batter per pancake onto the pan.
- Sprinkle vegetable mix on each pancake. Cook pancake 1-1.5 mins till the top is cooked & dry then sprinkle some ghee on it. Turn & cook for another 30 secs remove & serve with chutney
