This traditional Mangalorean style Radish Stir Fry recipe is quick and delicious. Goes perfectly well with chapatis and is my husband’s favourite vegetable stir fry.
Ingredients
- 1 large Radish with leaves (sliced into thin quarters)
- 1 large red onion chopped fine
- 1 green chilly slit
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp Grated coconut (optional)
For Tempering (optional)
- Oil
- 1/4 tsp mustard
- 2 -3 garlic cloves crusheddish.
Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoon coconut oil
- Add chopped onions, green chilly and fry for 1-2 minutes until onions start to become translucent.
- Add radish leaves and fry for 1 minute
- Add chopped radish, salt and fry for 1 minute
- Add grated coconut (optional)
- Cover and cook for another 1 minute.
- Mix and remove from heat.
- If desired you can add tempering on top. For tempering, heat a small pan and add 1 tbsp oil, mustard, crushed garlic and fry until garlic is brown then add to the ra
