Summer is just around the corner and what better way to enjoy the hot sun with a refreshing smoothie. This smoothie is rich in vitamin C and also includes the health benefits of ginger, mint and coconut water.
Ingredients
- 1 navel orange OR sweet lime (mosambi)
- 1 sweet mandarin/clementine/tangerine peeled and deseeded
- 1 lemon peeled and deseeded
- 1 inch ginger
- 10-15 mint leaves
- 6 tsp sugar (optional)
- 2 cups of coconut water fresh/canned
- 7-8 cubes of ice (adjust accordingly)
Instructions
- In a blender, add sweet lime, orange, lemon, ginger, mint leaves, sugar, coconut water, ice cubes. Put it on smoothie mode and blend for 1 minute.
Notes
- If you don't get fresh coconut water, you can add the canned or the boxed coconut water. I have used the boxed coconut water
- You can skip the sugar, if you are adding fresh coconut water.
- You can add ice according to coldness and thickness of the drink you prefer.
