Continuing with all the chikoo deliciousness, here is another recipe that can be enjoyed as a dessert. The milk and chikoo add the creaminess and the coarsely grounds nuts give the dessert a great texture. We hope you enjoy it!
Ingredients
- 2 cups milk
- 2 medium sized chikoos (peeled, deseeded, cut and puréed)
- 10-15 cashews (split into half and coarsely ground)
- 10 almonds (coarsely ground)
- 3 tbsp condensed milk
Garnish
- 1 chikoo peeled, deseeded, cut into small pieces
- 2 pitted dates cut into small pieces
Instructions
- In a pan, add milk, boil on high heat stirring continuously so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pan. Once it starts to boil reduce to medium heat and simmer stirring occasionally until it reduces to almost half.
- Add condensed milk, coarsely ground almonds and cashews, stir for 2 mins.
- Remove from heat and cool. Once cooled, add chikoo puree and mix nicely
- Put in a bowl and garnish with cut chikoo and dates.
- Cover the bowl with cling wrap and keep in the fridge to cool for minimum 1 hour.
