Summer is just around the corner and what better way to enjoy the hot sun with a refreshing smoothie. This smoothie is rich in vitamin C and also includes the health benefits of ginger, mint and coconut water.

Orange, Lemon & Coconut Water Smoothie

Serves: 3-4 Prep Time: 10 Minutes Cooking Time: 5 Minutes 5 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 navel orange OR sweet lime (mosambi)
  • 1 sweet mandarin/clementine/tangerine peeled and deseeded
  • 1 lemon peeled and deseeded
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 10-15 mint leaves
  • 6 tsp sugar (optional)
  • 2 cups of coconut water fresh/canned
  • 7-8 cubes of ice (adjust accordingly)

 

Instructions

  1. In a blender, add sweet lime, orange, lemon, ginger, mint leaves, sugar, coconut water, ice cubes. Put it on smoothie mode and blend for 1 minute.

Notes

  • If you don't get fresh coconut water, you can add the canned or the boxed coconut water. I have used the boxed coconut water
  • You can skip the sugar, if you are adding fresh coconut water.
  • You can add ice according to coldness and thickness of the drink you prefer.
